Flash Bramble firmware to your ESP32-S3 device
Ready
Ready.
Press the RST (reset) button on your device to start the new firmware. The screen should light up within a few seconds.
In the next step, your browser will ask you to select the serial port again; this is normal. The device reconnects as a new USB device after reset.
Click above once you see the Bramble splash screen on your device.
Give your node a name and connect it to WiFi. This lets you manage it wirelessly from the Bramble web app on your phone or computer.
Paste the key from a node that is already on your mesh, to join this node to it. Without a network key a node is inert: it has no way to verify mesh traffic, so it will not mesh at all. Setting up your first node? Leave this blank, then open the Bramble web app and use Config → Network Key → Found a new network to mint one.
Wireless connections always require an auth token.
Set your own here (16+ characters), or leave blank and the device will
generate one on first boot; retrieve it later with bramble pair
over USB.
Save this token: you'll need it to connect wirelessly via the web app or CLI.
Your Bramble device is ready to go.
Requires Chrome/Edge with Web Serial API support.
Hold BOOT button while connecting if device isn't detected.
